MTV Base Instagram contest will take 4 to Durban

African youth who have got talent can prove it in the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity working on the MTV Africa Music Awards (MAMA) 2015. It has emerged that MTV Base is looking for a dancer, photographer, social media journalist and videographer to work at the MAMA.

Each winner will get the chance to attend the MAMA 2015 in Durban, South Africa be part of the MTV Base team, and work alongside an experienced mentor in the relevant discipline. MTV Base will cover all travel and accommodation costs, so intending participants must make sure they are available across the weekend of July 18.

 

To score this life-changing opportunity the intending dancer must upload a 15-second clip to Instagram showing moves with the hashtag #MAMAdancer and tag @MTVBreaks.

 

For the camera person, upload a 15-second clip to Instagram that best showcases camera skills with the same hashtag. Ditto the photographer, who must capture an awesome action shot and upload, as well as the social media journalist, who should tweet a commentary to either their favourite MTV music video or MTV show. The intending journalist should send at least five tweets with hashtag tweet#MTVBreaks and #SM.

The MTV Africa Music Awards 2015 will broadcast live on MTV Base (DStv Channel 322) and MTV (DStv Channel 130) on Saturday, July 18, 2015. The show will also be transmitted worldwide on partner stations and content platforms.
