The chief host of the popular television show, Your View, Morayo Afolabi-Brown is under heavy criticisms over comment she made on the show that she does not trust her husband with her daughter.

The comment, which was tweeted by the television twitter handle, has irked the public which believes she may have a trust deficit about her husband.

“I absolutely trust my husband but I won’t take chances and have him bathe my daughter, because whether we like it or not, there is something flying in the air these days that is encouraging imbalance and immoralities,” she said.

A lot of people took to social media to blast her for such comment, saying they are surprised she used such comments because of how she had previously gloated about her husband.

Career strategist, Dipo Oluwole said, “May you not marry someone that will not trust you to bath your own daughter or son because of what they read on newspapers or social media.”

Gimba Kakanda, head of media and communications, LSE Africa Summit, an annual, student-led research and business conference, discussing Africa, tweeted that he is not sure how he will feel if his wife makes such comment on national television.

“I’m not even sure of how to deal with the shock of my wife telling me I can’t bathe OUR own daughter. There can’t be anything more humiliating than being so publicly profiled as potential pervert,” he tweeted.

Brand analyst, Azuka Onwuka, asked on Facebook what normal man would have sexual thoughts about his daughter, sister, or mother.

“This is not even pedophilia that sick men have; this is incestuous pedophilia pedophilia – double sickness,” Azuka said.
