Croatia and Real Madrid midfielder, Luka Modric has said he would like to continue playing at the Santiago Bernabeu after the expiration of his current deal.
The midfield maestro who left north London club, Tottenham for Real Madrid in 2012, is yet to sign a new deal even though his current deal expires at the end of the season.
Reports from Spain, however, indicate that the La Liga giants are equally open to keeping the 37-year-old at the club beyond this season.

Modric was on display for Real Madrid at the weekend, as they clinched another Copa del Rey at the expense of Osasuna, after beating them 2-1 in the final.
Speaking to journalists after the victory, the Croatian said he would want to sign another contract and continue playing for Los Blancos.
He said, “The idea is to continue at Madrid but… we’ll see what happens. This club is my whole life, Real Madrid is my whole life.”
He also said he is calm about his current contract situation at the club, adding that whatever happens in the future won’t change anything about his relationship with Real Madrid.
