Mike Bamiloye’s son, Joshua, says Christians shouldn’t attend concerts by Davido, Wizkid, others

Joshua further argued that his assertion can only resonate with those under the unction of the Holy Spirit

Joshua Mike Bamiloye, son of popular Nigerian gospel film actor, dramatist, evangelist and movie producer, Mike Bamiloye, has caused a buzz on social media after suggesting that attending secular concerts is a sin and that genuine Christians should not be found in such shows.  

Also known as Jay Mikee, the music producer made this known via his Twitter handle, where he specifically stated that those who consider themselves Christians should not be found in shows where Davido, Wizkid, Rema and others are performing.

Joshua in the now-viral post also spoke about why it is inappropriate for devoted Christians to participate in such gatherings.

However, knowing his post would attract criticism, especially from non-believers, he went on to argue that his assertion will resonate with those under the unction of the Holy Spirit which aids them set necessary boundaries. 

Speaking via his social media page, Joshua tweeted: “Honestly, if you consider yourself a genuine Christian, it’s not appropriate to participate in shows or concerts by secular artists like Davido, Wizkid, Rema, etc.

“Some might argue against this view, but those who are guided by the Holy Spirit understand where to set boundaries,”
