Michelle Obama claims Trump is threatened by successful blacks

Michelle Obama also urged delegates at DNC convention to throw their weight behind Democratic Party’s presidential nominee, Kamala Harris

Former United States First Lady, Michelle Obama while speaking during the second day of the Democratic National Convention (DNC) in Chicago, Illinois hit former US President, Donald Trump over his ‘Black jobs’ remark.

The Republican presidential candidate in the November election made the comment in June while slamming President Joe Biden on immigration.

Reacting to the statement during the convention, Michelle, who got a lengthy standing ovation as she appeared at the convention said Trump is threatened by successful and educated blacks.

She also alleged that the former president did everything in his power to make people fear her and her husband, Barak Obama, while they occupied the White House.

She further urged delegates at the convention to throw their weight behind Democratic presidential candidate, Kamala Harris, saying “Hope is making a comeback.”

While chastising the ex-president, Michelle Obama said, “For years, Donald Trump did everything in his power to try to make people fear us. 
 
“His limited and narrow view of the world made him feel threatened by the existence of two hardworking, highly educated, successful people who also happened to be Black. 
 
“Who’s going to tell him that the job he’s currently seeking might just be one of those ‘Black jobs’?”
