Inter Miami star, Lionel Messi, will not be playing at the 2024 Paris Olympics after he was left out of Argentina’s squad.
Also missing from the list is chelsea midfielder, Enzo Fernandez, who did not also make the cut.
While Messi, who won an Olympic gold medal in Beijing in 2008, was excused from international duty in Paris to manage his workload, Fernandez was denied permission to travel to France by Chelsea.

The Blues’ midfielder was directed by the Premier League club to join Enzo Maresca and the rest of his team mates for preseason.
