Mercy Johnson frowns at unauthorised bank dedication

Mercy Johnson asserted that banks should not be engaging in such sharp practices especially now that things are tough in the country

Ace Nollywood actress and mother of four,   Mercy Johnson, has condemned the rate at which Nigerian financial institutions deduct money from customers’ accounts without authorisation. 

The thespian got her fans talking on social media after expressing her displeasure over an unauthorised transaction on her account by one of Nigerian banks. 

Mercy shared the video on her Instagram page and declared angrily that she was not just going to fold her arms and rant, but will be visiting the said bank to express her dissatisfaction.

She went on to lament that banks should not be engaging in such sharp practices especially now that things are tough in the country, she, however, didn’t mention the bank involved.

She said, “I don’t want to name the bank, but my Acc name is Mercy Ozioma Okojie and Sapa is everywhere. Return my 11naira.” 

Netizens have since joined in on the conversation, while some social media users felt she overreacted because the amount involved was small, others opined she should have named the bank

Meanwhile, the 37-year-old actress recently pointed accusing fingers at popular blogger, Tunde Ednut, whom she said his latest post on acceptable number of kids was aimed at her.
