The #EndSARs protest team of medical practitioners put up a courageous fight to save the life of a man shot by police during the protest in Surulere, Lagos State.
The man who was allegedly shot by a policeman of the Area C division, died from his bullet wound but not without a strong effort of the medical team of protesters who battled to save his life.
The medical team who consist of doctors, nurses and other health workers appeared to have been prepared with the equipment needed to treat a gunshot victim.
They tried to administer intravenous therapy on the dying man, and pressure on his chest before he passed.
The #EndSARS protest is against police brutality and other extortions which the Special Anti Robbery Squad of the police are reputed for. Although the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Mohammed Adamu, has announced the disbandment of the outfit, the protesters are still unimpressed because they fear that the officers could still continue their nefarious activities in the police force. They want an overhaul of the police.
