Mbaise People’s Congress will on December 10 hold its annual Professionals Get Together, and reception for its Deputy National President, Dr Ken Opara, the Executive Director of Fidelity Bank of Nigeria and President of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN).
The event, which will also feature Distinguished Achievement Awards for deserving Mbaise sons and daughters, will be held by 12 noon at Golden Tulip, Mafoluku, Lagos, according to an invitation card made available to The Niche.
Lined up as the chairman of the occasion is the Head of Finance and Strategy at Oando Group, Mr Frank Ihekweaba. The guest speaker is Prof Bongo Adi of Lagos Business School, while the special guest of honour is General Lincoln Ogunewe (retd).

Mbaise People’s Congress will on that day confer the Distinguished Achievement Awards on the following: the founding National President, Mbaise People’s Congress and Director, Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Abuja, Ochiagha Andy Nkemneme; Assistant Inspector General of Police, Police Headquarters, Mrs Ngozi Vivian Ogu-Onadeko; Ogunewe; Adi; Mrs Florence Boma Alabi (SAN); Managing Director of Sunu Health Ltd, Dr Patrick Korie; and Ihekweaba.
Others include the Managing Director of Universal Insurance Plc, Lagos, Dr Ben Ujoatuonu; Provost, Federal College of Fisheries and Marine Technology, Lagos, Dr Paul Chuks Onuoha; Head, Corporate Affairs, Seplat Group, Dr Mrs Chioma Nwachukwu; and Chairman/CEO, Obetus Investment Ltd, Lagos, Mr Bertrand Ogu.
Also to be honoured is the Managing Director, Pasa Bitters (Odogwu Bitters) Ltd, Mr Innocent Onwunali; and Consultant Dermatologist and Genito-urinary Physician of the National Post Graduate College of Nigeria and Assistant Controller General (retd), Nigerian Correctional Service, Dr Mrs Ngozi Aham-neze.
