May Edochie, wife of Nollywood actor and producer, Yul Edochie has broken her silence after her husband announced he has a baby with actress, Judy Austin and called her his second wife.
The mother of four took to her Instagram page on Tuesday, May 10, and thanked Nigerians for reaching out to her after the not so pleasant news which broke the Internet.
May went on to assert that her “faith’ does not support polygamy, she also described her family as a ‘beautiful and loving’ one before soliciting prayers for her family.
She wrote, “I sincerely want to appreciate everyone for the tremendous love, prayers, and support from all over the world. It has really been overwhelming. You have all been an incredible pillar of strength during this trying period.
“My phones are buzzing once again due to the OLD video trending online today. My family and faith ABSOLUTELY do NOT practice polygamy, although it works for some people.
“God has blessed me with a beautiful and loving family. I need you all to continue to keep me and my family in your prayers.
“May God bless you all abundantly for your love, prayers, and support.”

Meanwhile, it seems normalcy has returned to Yul Edochie’s marriage after he shared a video of himself and his first wife, May Edochie, all loved up on social media.
The thespian took to his Instagram page, where he shared his first lovey-dovey video of himself with his first wife, amid polygamy controversy.
In the video, the 40-year-old and his wife were seen dancing to the popular song ‘Problem no dey finish’ by Erigga.
Edochie and May seem to have put their differences aside, as they showed off their dance moves inside a car where the video was recorded.
Yul captioned the video, “Fun moment with my Angel.
CEO Extraordinaire @mayyuledochie”
Members of the online community later stormed the comment section to congratulate them, some, however, questioned the Actor if the video clip is a recent one.
