Katsina State Governor Aminu Bello Masari

Six days after 333 schoolboys of the Government Science Secondary School Kankara, in Katsina state where abducted, President Muhammadu Buhari has not visited the scene of the abduction.

Kankara is a remote community in Katsina, an hour drive from Daura where the president is currently holidaying.

Parents of the abducted schoolboys have been keeping vigil in the school in the hope that their children would be returned to them.

Journalist:  I’m’ sure you’ve seen a lot of questions and comments from Nigerians asking just why the president has not visited the school. Did you get any response regarding that?

Masari: You go and ask the president. I didn’t ask him that. You go and ask him.

Journalist: It was you that met with the president Governor Masari. A lot of Nigerians will like to know if that came up.

Masari: Your correspondent is in the entourage of the president. Ask him to ask him.
