A man married for 16 years who recently discovered the four children born to him by his wife do not actually belong to him biologically has appealed for public help to cope with the trauma.

Olanrewaju Kolawole, 44, said he and Toyin Tella got married in 2007 but he was shocked to the marrow when he discovered through DNA tests recently that none of the four children she claimed to have born to him is actually his.

He appealed to Nigerians to come to his aid to enable him recover from heartache and move on with his life.

Kolawole, an indigene of Ikire in Irewole Counci in Osun, made the appeal on a radio programme tagged Kokoro Alate anchored by Oriyomi Hamzat on Agidigbo 88.7 FM in Ibadan.

The DNA test was conducted at DDC DNA Diagnostic Center in Osogbo.

Paternity fraud discovery

The paternity fraud was revealed when the couple appeared on the radio programme on November 3, per Daily Post.

Kolawole wept profusely after test results showed none of the four children born to him by Toyin is his biological child.

He recounted that when the first test on the first child showed the child does not belong to him, he carried out tests on the other three children and all returned negative.

“I want Nigerians to come to my rescue because I must not suffer this in vain. I married Toyin in 2007 and gave birth to four children. She gave birth to four children, but none of them belongs to me after findings from a DNA test.”

But Toyin disagreed with the results, disclosing she was not there when they took the samples.

“I don’t accept the result. I don’t accept it because I was not there when they took samples, and I don’t know which samples they took, so I don’t accept it. I can’t accept it because I know how I conceived those children,” she insisted.
