Man City were accused of multiple breaches of Financial Fair Play rules and  failing to cooperate with the subsequent investigation.

Following the charges, the Citizens denied all the allegations, saying they are confident they’ll be exonerated.

However, if they are found guilty, they could be hit with financial penalties, a points deduction or even be relegated.

It is believed that once a verdict has been returned, an appeal is very likely to extend the case until the end of next season.
