Major disclosures in Tinubu’s Chicago State University documents released to Atiku

The certificate Tinubu submitted to INEC

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s records with Chicago State University (CSU) have confirmed some facts already in the public domain.

Those facts are as follows;

CSU releases Tinubu’s credentials, admission transcript shows “female”

  • In June 1997, Tinubu applied and received a replacement diploma issued from CSU. He submitted the said Diploma to INEC. However, a samples of CSU certificates released yesterday shows it to be remarkably different from what Tinubu presented to INEC.
  • Prior to enrolling in CSU, Tinubu used a transcript from Southwest College, Chicago to gain admission into CSU. Curiously, the transcript belongs to a female.
  • Tinubu’s public record on Wikipedia and an earlier submission to INEC in 1999, showed he went to Government College, Ibadan for his secondary education. But the Bola A. Tinubu who applied to Southwest College, Chicago for an associate degree in 1975, attended Government College, Lagos, where he graduated in 1970.
  • The transcript from South West College, Chicago, confirmed that Bola A. Tinubu graduated from Government College, Lagos in 1970. However, the government College, Lagos, was not established until 1974.
  • Tinubu’s official date of birth is March 29, 1952, but the birthday recorded in his CSU transcript says he was born on March 29, 1954.
