Lukaku after Inter’s 1-0 win over AC Milan in the UCL semi-final 2nd leg said he became a successful striker under the Frenchman

Inter Milan striker, Romelu Lukaku has openly admitted Arsenal legend, Thierry Henry made him a more prolific sticker after they worked together in the Belgium national team.
Lukaku, despite describing Henry as ‘very old school and very strict’, while speaking, confessed that he had his best days as a striker under the tutelage of the Frenchman.
The former Gunners striker worked with Lukaku from 2016-18 and 2021-22, when he was the assistant coach to the then Belgium manager, Roberto Martinez.
And the Belgium international recognises that he made him a more successful striker, scoring a superb 72 goals in 106 caps for his country,

Lukaku started from the bench as Inter Milan beat city rivals, AC Milan in the second leg of their UEFA Champions League (UCL) semi-final on Tuesday night, to qualify for the final on a 3-0 goals aggregate.
And while Henry was on punditry duty for CBS, the Belgian was asked if he missed working with the legendary striker and he said: “Yeah, yeah I do.”
Speaking on Henry’s coaching style, Lukaku explained: “Very, very old school, very strict…
“We sat together every day for that training camp for eight days, two days watching scouts of every game, every clip. There your touch was bad, there you did well. It was always half and half.
“Then from there I had my best year in the Prem, from there in the national team I started scoring every game. I’m very grateful to him, he still does it today.”
