Liverpool wallop Arsenal 4-0 to extended the gap between them to five points, but the visitors remained fifth on the Premier League table

Arsenal suffered their second heaviest defeat of the season as they lost 4-0 away to Liverpool at Anfield.
Defenders were on top in the game until Sadio Mane opened Liverpools’ account on the 37th minute after a pass from Trent Alexander-Arnold.
Arsenal’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Bukayo Saka were a threat on the counter-attack but Alisson was comfortable when he was called into action and centre-back pairing Virgil van Dijk and Joel Matip were solid for Liverpool.

Liverpool scored the second goal in the 52nd minute after Diego Jota’s cool finish made it 2-0 to the home side.
Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane combined brilliantly in the 73rd minute to give Liverpool 3-0 lead after Salah put the ball brilliantly into the back of the net.
Takumi Minamino capped a miserable evening for the visitor, when he scored from another assist from Trent Alexander-Arnold in the 77th minute, to end the game 4-0 in favor of Liverpool.
The home side move second in the league ahead of Man City, who do not play until tomorrow, and West Ham, who lost 1-0 to Wolverhampton earlier today, while Arsenal stay 5th with a -4 goal difference.
