Dancer and first runner up of Big Brother Nigeria season 6, Liquorose, has clarified a statement she made to her love interest, Emmanuel, while they were in the BBNaija house.
Fans of the show have accused her of demanding to be sexually violated by Emmanuel after she got drunk at one of the Saturday night parties.
But in an interview on GoldMyne TV on Monday, the video vixen described what happened as a misconception.
According to her, she only repeated what Emmanuel said when he was admiring how beautiful she looked that night and how much he wanted her.
She went on to say Emmanuel did not use the word rape in the context of physically assaulting her, and that though they were tipsy on the night, she would never ask to be violated, especially after escaping two rape attempts.
She went further to describe her love interest, Emmanuel, as a gentleman who can never be involved in such behavior.
“Rape is a very sensitive topic for me, I’ve escaped two rape attempts in my life. This is the first time I’m saying it out.”
“I will never ask someone to rape me,” Liquorose said.
The 26-year-old concluded by saying it is only after listening to the entire conversation she had with Emmanuel on the night, that fans can understand what truly transpired.
