The Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) has stated its readiness to build the capacity of young entrepreneurs to drive the economic development of the country.
Mr Muda Yusuf, Director-General of LCCI said this in a statement to newsmen on Monday in Lagos.
According to him, the LCCI mentoring program which is a Corporate Social Responsibility initiative of the Chamber will contribute to national development by instilling an entrepreneurial mindset among youths.
He said that the programme that would be a Mentor-Mentee Matching ceremony would hold on Aug. 5th at Ikeja.
“It will also help young entrepreneurs to build their capacity and benefit from the rich experience of their mentors.”
The Director-General emphasised that “the initiative is a way of developing change-agents, who will place Nigeria among the top economies in the world.”
He said that the programme would also feature exhibition of products and services of the mentees.
