Lanre Gentry, Lagos socialite and former husband of Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe, has welcomed a baby girl with his new wife, Oluwabusayo.
Sharing the news on his Instagram page, the elated father wrote, “Thank you Lord for the gift of marriage, I’m very happy it is a baby girl thank God.”
The news from the couple elicited a lot of congratulatory messages from fans of the hotelier and well-wishers.
Gentry and his new heartthrob had their traditional wedding in September 2021 at a very colourful event in Lagos.
That was after Lanre Genty and Mercy Aigbe parted ways in 2017 after a 7-year tumultuous union.

While Mercy accused Lanre of domestic violence, Lanre accused the actress of infidelity. The union, however, produced a son Juwon.
Meanwhile, It is not clear if Gentry has finally ended his previous marriage with Aigbe officially.
In June 2021, the movie star appealed to her estranged husband to sign their divorce papers.
She said, “No. Please, everyone should appeal to him to sign the divorce papers. He has even refused to accept them. We are still married and not yet divorced. The divorce is not yet finalised. Maybe I should use this medium to appeal, you guys should help me beg him to let me go,”
