Lagos community begs Sanwo-Olu to fix deplorable roads, drainage

“We appreciate the effort of the Lagos State government in providing the dividend of democracy to Lagosians. We also appeal to Governor Sanwo-Olu to use his second term to look into the deplorable State of roads from Ijegun, Ijeododo to Abule Ado Badagry Express Road and fix it.”

Having celebrated the electoral victories of president-elect Ahmed Bola Tinubu and Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Ijeododo Community has placed a demand for the construction and rehabilitation of roads and drainages in the area.

On Wednesday, the Baale Abu Jelili Ododo and Ijeododo kingdom rolled out drums and masquerades to celebrate Tinubu and Sanwo-Olu in appreciation of works which they claimed gave them victory.

The Baale of Ijeododo kingdom Abu Jelili Ododo who addressed Journalists during the celebration said, “We appreciate the effort of the Lagos State government in providing the dividend of democracy to Lagosians, we also appeal to Governor Sanwo-Olu to use his second term to look into the deplorable State of roads from Ijegun, Ijeododo to Abule Ado Badagry Express Road and fix it to help the economic status of Ijeododo with a huge population of people in need of good roads as different ethnic groups are also living and doing business in the area”

The monarch further said, all the Ijeododo kingdom wanted is to make the Community habitable for people living in the area to improve and grow their business and living standards.

“We are happy with everyone in this Community, Igbos, Yorubas Hausas, Fulanis, Delta, and others we have no problem.

“We live as brothers helping in Community development, but want the government of Gov.Sanwo-Olu to assist us, especially on roads and drainages.”

The Ijeododo kingdom finally through their Baale pledged their loyalty to the Lagos State government
