A Nigerian lady identified on microblogging platform, Twitter as Temitope Akinrimisi, has expressed apprehension over her safety after her gateman professed his love for her.
Temitope said she was taken aback when she received love advances and romantic messages on WhatsApp from her employee and gatekeeper.
In the chats she shared on Twitter, the gateman confessed that he has secretly admired her for a long time and could no longer keep the feelings to himself.

He pleaded with her to give him a chance to prove his life for her, while also urging her to disregard the fact that he is just a gateman.
Sharing screenshots of their chats on Twitter, the lady wrote: “My gate man legit told me he has feelings for me. I don’t even feel safe anymore.”
Interestingly, while some netizens felt the gateman went beyond his bounds and deserves a sack since her employer does not feel safe anymore.
Other Twitter users, however, commended his courage and marvelled at the gateman’s applaudable command of the English language.
