A Nigerian lady identified on Twitter as @nihiinn has sent tongues wagging on social media after relating her experience when she visited a man she was planning to date at home for the first time.
The guy treated her to a typical home-cooked meal that is affordable and won’t be hard to prepare.
According to the lady, he boiled yam and garnished it with palm oil and served the food with one water sachet.
After he brought the food to the table, she was very disappointed and refused to eat it.

The upset lady later took to her Twitter page to share the photo of the food and expressed her displeasure.
She tweeted: “Visiting this guy for the first time. He offered me Yam and Oil with a sachet of water,”
After her post made the rounds on social media, netizens trooped to the comment section to express their views with most of them telling her she missed a delicacy.
A tweep @evablazin23 wrote: “Oh it’s been long I ate this. Let me go buy yam, I have palm oil.”
Another internet user, @killertunes_tii tweeted: “This is real love . (Trenches Edition).”
@nnenna_blinks_ added: “I will eat it and give him a kiss on the forehead. That is one of my fav food. At least he fed your belly. Probably that is all he had to offer.”
Another netizen cam_ilia6600 said: “For go my house sharp sharp but on second thought, that may be the only thing he has so I will eat it happily.”
While @bolaadenike wrote: “I think his only offence here is that the water isn’t cold because trust me, yam goes well with cold water.”
