A Nigerian lady has taken to social media to express regret after rebuffing a request by Afrobeats singer and songwriter, Ahmed Ololade Asake, better known as Asake, to get to know her better.

Like the popular saying that “opportunity comes but once” it seems the lady, who is a Twitter user, has lost the opportunity to ride on the fame of the reigning music sensation.

She took to her Twitter handle to share a chat between her and the music star, signed to the YBNL record label.

In the post, the singer had asked for the lady’s number but she declined, insisting she is only interested in his songs and not a relationship.
