Kwara State Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq has commiserated with the family of late Olusola Saraki over the demise of the matriarch of the family, Florence Saraki.

Mrs Saraki, according to family sources, passed away on Tuesday at the age of 89.

She was the wife of Olusola Saraki, the late political kingmaker of Kwara state and former Senate Leader who died in 2012 at the age of 79.

The woman was the mother of Bukola Saraki, the former governor of the state and former Senate President who now heads what has been regarded by many people as Saraki’s political dynasty.

The deceased though not a politician herself lived to be a wife to a senator and mother to two senators as another of her children, a female child, Gbemisola Saraki, also served as a senator.

The governor, in a statement signed by his media aide, Rafiu Ajakaye, commiserated Bukola and his siblings and the entire members of the Saraki’s family.
