Rabiu Kwankwaso has promised to dialogue with everyone, individuals and groups, grousing against Nigeria’s structure and are in the trenches fighting for a separate country from an unjust system.

He made the pledge in Enugu when he inaugurated the office of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) and declared Nigeria needs urgent rescue from the corrupt All Progressives Congress (APC) administration which has messed the country up.

Kwankwaso, former Kano Governor now NNPP presidential candidate, argued the APC is worse than the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) eve as they are one and the same in terms of corruption, inept leadership, and maladministration.

He urged voters to elect the best and most competent person as President in 2023 to clean up the quagmire created by Muhammadu Buhari on the platform of the APC.

“I believe that every Nigerian must be very happy now that we have an alternative party, an alternative to the PDP and, of course, an alternative to the APC, because for us they are one and the same thing, meaning that these are the parties that have failed Nigerians over the years,” he said.

Nigeria in total mess

“Now that we are in a total mess in the country in terms of security, in terms of economy, even our education system has collapsed, and infrastructure is in a terrible situation, and so on and so forth,” Kwankwaso added, per The PUNCH.

“We have alternatives for all Nigerians, especially those who are not happy with the status quo. Anybody who is not happy like me should now look for an alternative, and the alternative is NNPP.”

Kwankwaso, also a former Defence Minister, warned the situation in Nigeria does not require a tribal leader, because “right now, we’re looking for the best; we’re not looking for someone who is Hausa, Yoruba, Igbo, or any other tribe.”
