Kwankwaso settled for Bishop Isaac Idahosa after the talks collapse between him and Labour Party Presidential candidate, Peter Obi

Governor of Kano State, Rabiu Kwankwaso, has picked a pastor, Bishop Isaac Idahosa as running mate, according to a statement on the official Twitter handle of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP).
The party announced: “Our VP Pastor Bishop Isaac Idahosa from Edo State.”
The Edo State born Bishop Isaac Idahosa is the Senior Pastor of God First Ministry, popularly known as Illumination Assembly, with its headquarters at Lekki Light Centre (LLC), Ajah, Lagos. The 10,000 sitting capacity church is estimated to have cost the bishop at least N2.5b to complete in 2014.

Bishop Isaac Idahosa is popular with Nigerian celebrities as many of them attend his plush church. The reason may be that he is also one of them, a gospel artist with three hit songs to his name, one of them being Don’t Give Up.
In September 2012, international gospel star, Ron Kennelly was among the special guests that attended the 23rd anniversary of Bishop Idahosa’s Illumination Assembly Church in Minna, Niger State.
Bishop Isaac Idahosa is also a writer, and motivational speaker whom many of his followers love to call ‘Prophet Talk Na Do.’
Recall that Kwankwaso had tried to get the presidential candidate of the Labour Party and former Governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi to be his running mate. He settled for Bishop Isaac Idahosa after the talks collapse.
