Kunle Remi prior to the confirmation said his snub at 2023 Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA) didn’t bother him

Nigerian actor, filmmaker and model, Oyekunle Opeyemi Oluwaremi, better known as Kunle Remi has opened up on his love life, revealing he is currently in a ‘serious’ relationship.
The thespian who made this known when he featured as a guest on the TVC programme, ‘Your View’, however, kept mum about the identity of his partner.
Confirming that he has a serious girlfriend while chatting with the hosts of the show, Kunle Remi clarified that he is not single.

He said, “I mean, it is nothing to hide. I have someone. I’m serious.”
Kunle Remi and Nollywood actress, Bimbo Ademoye once sparked dating rumours on social media after they played lead roles in the epic Yoruba movie ‘Anikulapo’.
Since then, the actor has been asked by fans severally to reveal his relationship status but he kept mute until the interview.
Prior to the confirmation of his relationship status, he had earlier addressed his snub at the 2023 Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA).
Anikulapo, Kunle Afolayan’s 2022 movie, received the highest number of nominations at the 2023 edition of (AMVCA).
Even though the movie was nominated in 15 categories, Kunle Remi who was Anikulapo’s lead actor didn’t receive one nomination.
Speaking on the snub, he said: “Nomination, well, I fell into the category of non-nominated artistes. It doesn’t reduce my value, fame and energy.”
