Kudos, knocks, as DJ Cuppy graduates from Oxford

DJ Cuppy on Tuesday, took to social media  to announce that she has graduated from the prestigious Oxford University

Disc Jockey and billionaire daughter, Florence Otedola better known as DJ Cuppy, has sent tongues wagging on social media after disclosing she has completed her master’s degree. 

The popular DJ, who put in for a master’s in African Studies took to Instagram on Tuesday, to announce that she has graduated from the prestigious Oxford University. 

However, DJ Cuppy while conveying the good news, added that she didn’t graduate with distinction or merit, but was happy she passed. 

She wrote, “I got my THESIS result, which classifies my MSc degree. I didn’t get a Merit or a Distinction, but I PASSED!

“After a tough year, I can officially say I am now a GRADUATE from @UniofOxford, and I am bloody PROUD of myself. To GOD be the GLORY!”

Mixed reactions have since trailed DJ Cuppy’s statement that she didn’t graduate with Merit or Distinction. 

While some netizens congratulated her for completing her studies, others shaded her for failing to come out with flying colours.   

A netizen identified as morrislucky wrote, “You no graduate with Merit or Distinction, shay na my papa wey be force man I wan tell that one. Wow, rich kids anyway congratulations Cuppy.” 

Another IG user, damidadchoco said, “Congratulations CUPPY!! But why didn’t you get a Merit Or Distinction, Shey you no sabi COPY nii?” 

Barbanginda added, “I was in 300L first semester when you started, guess what I’m still in 300L about to start second semester hopefully if ASUU calls off the strike. Anyways Congratulations Cuppy ❤️” 

Another internet user, lordric_ wrote, “ASUU is on strike & a lot of Nigerian youths are in pain, then she goes on to rub this on their faces. 

“This is why most people don’t like DJ cuppy, she doesn’t know how to read the room. Remember what she posted during #EndSARS? Anyhow sha, congratulations cuppy @cuppymusic 

While aonung said,  “Congratulations Cuppy! Working and studying isn’t easy at all.”
