The giant strides of Lagos State Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode, have received commendation from a key member of the ruling party, All Progressive Congress (APC), Honourable Kosoko Dele.

Kosoko said that Ambode has indeed raised the leadership bar of the state, stressing that he sees all sectors as a priority.

He also commended the governor for the new position he gave Akinyemi Ashade as the new commissioner for finance.

Ashade is from Badagry federal constituency where Kosoko represented as a federal lawmaker.

Ambode was recently granted permission on request by the presidency to transform the presidential lodge in Marina to a foremost hub of arts, entertainment and culture. The move is seen as a means of generating income for the state underlining the governor’s efforts toward expanding the state’s revenue base.

The former House of Representatives Committee Chairman of Science and Technology in the Third Republic said that the governor’s plan to open lanes from Orile-Okokomaiko-Badagry Expressway would be another milestone considering its necessity as a “gateway to the nation.”

“The deep sea port will also create job opportunity for the youths and business men would have cause to smile,” he said.

On the Ondo State governorship election, he advised the key players to keep it clean from bloodletting.

“I want to commend Governor Akinwunmi Ambode for all his tireless efforts at taking Lagos State to the next level. Indeed he has raised the bar of leadership and we are proud of his achievements so far. I also want to thank him (Ambode) on behalf of all the people in my federal constituency for the new office he gave Ashade as the new commissioner for finance,” he stated.
