Aduku had earlier held meetings with stakeholders, including party leaders and leadership of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NUTRW).

He said that communities in the 12 political wards of the local government had resolved to stand by the president and the PDP.

Grievances arising from the party primaries, he added, were resolved and aggrieved members reconciled “and all of them have resolved to unite and work as a team to ensure landslide victory for the president”.

The former minister said that the people had also resolved to embark on house-to-house campaign, to ensure that the president and all the PDP candidates in the election swept the entire votes during the polls.

According to him, the people have unanimously agreed that there is no alternative to President Goodluck Jonathan and all the PDP candidates in the election.

While commending the people for the decision, Aduku assured them that after the polls, Gov. Idris Wada and President Jonathan would appreciate and recompense them.

The Chairman of the party in the local government, Alhaji Hassan Ado who also spoke with newsmen, commended Chief Aduku for his reconciliatory efforts.

He said that through the effort, all the grievances had been resolved.
