Klopp urges his players to stop United from qualifying for UCL

 

Klopp added that he would put his relationship with Man United manager, Ralf Rangnick, on hold when Liverpool host he Red Devils

Liverpool gaffer, Jurgen Klopp, has promised that he and his men will ensure they beat their arch-rival, Man United to prevent them from qualifying for UEFA Champions League (UCL) next season. 

Klopp said this during his pre-match press conference ahead of Liverpool’s Premier League tie with Man United at Anfield on Tuesday night, stressing they also needed to win the game to win the league. 

The German added that he would put his relationship with Man United manager, Ralf Rangnick, on hold when Liverpool hosts The Red Devils.

The Reds head into the game after eliminating Manchester City from the FA Cup over the weekend and are aware a win will take them to the summit of the Premier League at least for 24 hours. 

“The Manchester United we will face, they will go for it. They want to go to the Champions League,” Klopp said.

He added, “It will be an intense 90 minutes. We have to make sure they don’t take our points to get there.”

“How’s my relationship with Rangnick? On hold!”
