Klint da Drunk’s European tour stretches to two months

The on-going European tour featuring the comedians Klint da Drunk and I Go Save, which was supposed to last for only one month has stretched on to two and counting. Afametuna Klint Igwemma, which is Klint da Drunk’s real name, told TheNiche that they are currently on the final stretch of the European tour, said it is because it has been a very exciting run.

“It’s been lovely. We have had a lot of shows either fully booked or sold out. Surprisingly, we have not had even one show that was a disappointment. We have been so blessed by the turnout and our performances have been so much appreciated by the people here to the extent that the previous one month tour stretched to almost two months because of the increase in demand,” he said.

Klint da Drunk explained that the only bad part for him is the fact that he misses his family so much. “I really can’t wait to come back home to all my wonderful fans in Nigeria. I’m indeed home sick,” he said.

The tour took the duo to Czech Republic, Austria, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Spain and a host of other European countries. In each of the countries where they went the focus was on Africans in the Diaspora but there were also a sizeable number of the country people at the shows.
