Most fans of BBNaija season 6 believed the winner of the TV reality show, Hazel Oyeze Onou, better known as White Money, used cooking and cleaning the kitchen to endear himself to the viewers of the show.
Pere, a fellow housemate and the 2nd runner up, equally tried to stop him from cooking in a bid to derail him, because he thought it was his trump card for winning the show.
But new revelation from.White Money showed that he actually took to cooking and cleaning the kitchen as a way to get away from being intimidated by the more fluent and eloquent housemates.
He also disclosed to the host of the show, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, shortly after the prize presentation ceremony, that he knew Liquorose was his major competition during his stay in the house.
‘‘At no point in the house did I ever see myself as the winner especially with Liquorose in the house. I saw Liquorose as my competition. It was very clear, I told her literally that what happened between Mike and Mercy is about to play out again, at that point, no point. I mean when we were both on stage at the finals.
‘‘This season, what surprised me is the fact that almost everybody here is very learned in words, spoken words, and everything. I think I was the only odd one. So, I felt like, guy, just go to the kitchen, maintain that place. So I looked up to myself, I didn’t expect it, there were strong characters.” White Money said.
When he was later asked what he would do with the N30 million prize money, he responded saying: ‘‘It will be in the account, yes it will be there. We have other things to deliberate about now, that thing needs proper planning, you get the point now”
Recall the organizers of the show recently announced that a whooping sum of 4 3 billion naira was used in putting the show together, part of which it the N90 million grand prize, they also said over 1 billion votes was recorded during the show.
