Keyamo also called on the management of the Airline to immediately remedy this situation and directed NCAA to intervene

Nigeria’s Minister of Aviation, Festus Keyamo (SAN), has frowned at the treatment melted out to some Nigerian travellers by Moroccan Airline, Royal Air Maroc.
Taking to his X handle, he called out the Airline over the alleged ill-treatment of the Nigerians on their plane.
According to the Minister, the flight had taken off from Casablanca and was headed for Abuja, Nigeria’s capital city, but had to make an emergency landing in Marrakesh, Morocco, for some technical reason.
He went on to say rather than make adequate provisions for the passengers, who were mostly Nigerians, Royal Air Maroc abandoned them without food and shelter, with some of them, including women and children, sleeping on the floor.

He called on the management of the Airline to immediately remedy this situation, while also directing the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) to engage with Royal Air Maroc and ensure Nigerians on board get immediate relief.
Speaking via his verified social media handle, Keyamo tweeted, “I have just been informed of the inhuman treatment some Nigerians have been subjected to by ROYAL AIR MAROC @RAM_Maroc in Marrakesh, Morocco.
“The passengers, majority of whom are Nigerians, have been left without care at the terminal and without food and decent shelter, with women and children sleeping on the floor!
“Whilst I call on ROYAL AIR MAROC @RAM_Maroc to immediately remedy this situation, I have directed the Consumer Protection Department of the NCAA to immediately engage ROYAL AIR MAROC NIGERIA @royalairmarocng to bring immediate relief to these Nigerians.”
