Nigerian actor, Kenneth Okonkwo, believes constant communication is the bedrock of any healthy relationship.
To this extent, he took to his Twitter to advise people who are romantically involved with partners who are unwilling to discuss problems in their relationship to quite such an affair
According to the veteran actor, once anyone feels communicating with his or her partner has become a luxury, it is time to bid such a relationship goodbye.
He also felt being with a partner who does not listen could be emotionally and psychologically draining.
“#foodforthought. The worst possible thing that can happen to any relationship is for partners to second-guess each other due to a break down or lack of communication.
“It’s true that talking about issues could be exhausting g if your partner is someone who doesn’t put in the efforts to change things but I have to say this: if your relationship has gotten to that point where you no longer communicate your feelings to each other, becuse you think that doing so is a waste of time. Please, quit it.
“It’s better to liberate yourself from the emotional, psychological, and mental torture than to remain stuck in it, because sure, what you have going is not a relationship. It’s perpetual suffering.” He said.
Okonkwo, who was born 52 years ago, became a household name in the entertainment industry, after his role in the movie Living in Bondage, where he played the role of Andy Okeke.
