Kellyrae took home N60m and a brand new car after emerging winner of the 2024 edition of BBnaija reality show on Sunday

Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) Season 9 winner, Kellyrae has claimed he gave his wife, Kassia, N55 million out of the N60 million prize money he won on the reality show.
TheNiche had earlier reported that married housemate took home N60 million and a brand new car worth N40 million after emerging winner of the 2024 edition of the show on Sunday.
The 2024 winner and spouse, Kassia entered the BBNaija house as a pair, known as DoubleKay, before Biggie later unpaired the housemates, forcing them to compete as individuals.
Following the Big Brother’s decison, DoubleKay’s management backed Kellyrae to progress on the show ahead of Kassia.

It later told their fans that it took the decision after Kellyrae said he preferred to win the show’s grand prize instead of his wife.
However, while speaking during a live Instagram session with Kassia on Tuesday, Kellyrae said he has given N55 million from the N60 million he won to his wife.
He said, “The [prize] money is N60 million, I’ve sent Kassia N55 million already to take care of herself.”
Kassia, however, debunked his husband’s claim, saying: “To which account [did you send the money]? Why are you lying? You’re lying to your fans after they voted for you.”
Responding, Kellyrae joked, “It’s bad network. They [my fans] will not drag me.”
