Manchester City boss, Pep Guardiola, has singled out Tottenham Hotspur and Three Lions striker, Harry Kane for praise following his side’s Premier League 1-0 defeat against Spurs on Sunday.
Guardiola watched as Spurs defeated Man City at the Tottenham Hotspurs Stadium in a Premier League (PL) tie following Kane’s only goal of the match.
The England captain’s goal against the Citizens is his 200th goal in the Premier League and it made him the all-time highest goal scorer at Spurs, as well as the third leading goal scorer in the history of the English first-tier division.
The Lillywhites’ victory over the defending champions also means Man City Under Guardiola are yet to defeat Tottenham Hotspur at their home ground since he took over at the club 6 years ago.

Speaking at his post-match press conference, Guardiola said, “I am not going to say the Harry Kane team otherwise, Poch will be grumpy with me and I don’t want it.
“On behalf of Man City, I can say congrats on this incredible milestone. He is an exceptional player.”
The result against Tottenham means Man City could not take advantage of the slip by the league leaders, Arsenal, who lost to relegation-threatened Everton on Saturday, as they remain five points adrift of them.
