Joseph Ameh, music director and ex-husband of popular dancer, Kafayat Shafau, better known as Kaffy has refuted claims by his former wife that he slept with her close friends.
The dancer during a recent interview with media personality, Chude Jideonwo alleged that her ex-husband, slept with her friends while they were married.
In her words, “If I had known I won’t have jumped into that fire, I thought he was just sleeping with strangers but I found out he was sleeping with my best friends, people I knew….”
Reacting to the allegation. Joseph via a lengthy post on his Instagram Instagram page on Sunday, May 29, refuted her claims.

According to him, at no point did he sleep with any of Kaffy’s close friends, nor act violently towards her while they were married.
The father of two, however, admitted making mistakes while in the relationship and takes responsibility for his role in the breakup.
Addressing his ex-wife, Joseph wrote; “I will make this as brief as possible. I made many silly mistakes in my life and in my marriage.
“I take full responsibility for all my foolishness with absolutely no excuses. However, I never slept with your best friend or close pals- neither have I ever been violent towards you, contrary to the narratives flying around about me…’
He asks his ex-wife to try and move on since the break happened a long time ago, he also asserted he will not address the issue in the future.
“Anyway, It has been a year since the marriage officially ended. I’ve tried to move on and I do advise you do the same too.
“I wish all the very best to both of us as we move on maturely. The end of our marriage should not be the end of our lives.
“This is the first and last time I will speak on this subject” he added.
Kaffy sent tongues wagging on social media when she opened up about her divorce in January 2022 and made a series of allegations about her former hubby.
The dancer, who said going into celibacy for three years before her divorce, helped her cope with the hurt she experienced in the union, hinted that her husband slept with her friends in a recent interview.
