A viral video of activist, Zainab Ahmed, popularly known as Bint Hijazi, has caused a stir on social media.

Bint Hijazi, one of the conveners of the protest for #SecureNorth, is a look-alike of journalist, Kadaria Ahmed.

During one of the protests of the group  in Abuja, Bint Hijazi accused Buhari of failing in his responsibility to protect the North from bandits.

She revealed how bandits abducted a woman, raped her several times while filming the act, killed her and sent the video to the children of the deceased.

Bint Hijazi became uncontrollable in her grief during her emotional outpour.

She asked President Muhammadu Buhari why he hated the north and northern women so much that he allows them to be desecrated.

She said without the north, Buhari could never have become president, and instead of using that position to advance the cause of the region, he simply abandoned them.

The video of Bint Hijazi has been circulated on the social media and many who commented, thought she was Kadaria Ahmed.

The commentators hold a grouse against Kadaria Ahmed for  the 2019 pre-election interview she had with former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and Buhari.

They accused her of  being soft on Buhari and tough on Atiku during the interview.

The commentators who mistook Bint Hijazi for Kadaria Ahmed, berated her for aiding Buhari to win the 2019 presidential election.

In response, Kadaria Ahmed hit back at them

She said: “There is a video circulating online and many people are gleefully sharing it, happy because they think I’m  the one crying about a woman who was raped and killed and these gruesome recorded and  the video sent to her children.

“This is obviously a tragedy of monumental proportion and is sad. Indeed,  no one except evil people will celebrate this occurrence and then  even use it to score cheap political points.

“I am sending my heartfelt  condolences to the family of this woman .

“However, for the record, that is not me in that video and I don’t know the woman who was raped and killed although this does not make it any less of a tragedy.

“When I speak about national issues including on insecurity, when I march, I do it with no equivocation.  Everyone will know, without an iota of doubt its me  and my position is always clear.

“As for those dancing on other people’s grave pls carry on and continue to delude yourself that you can somehow  be exempt from the problems of this country. Continue,” she said.
