Tinubu to present 2025 budget to National Assembly on Tuesday

President Bola Tinubu is set to present the 2025 national budget to a joint session of the National Assembly on Tuesday, December 17, 2024.
Senate President Godswill Akpabio announced this during Thursday’s plenary, stating that the presentation will begin at 11:00 a.m. in the House of Representatives chamber.

According to Akpabio, senators would first converge on the Senate chambers before proceeding to the chamber of the House of Representatives for the joint session.
Tinubu earlier submitted the Medium-Term Expenditure Framework and Fiscal Strategy Paper for 2025-2027 to the Senate and the House of Representatives.
This will be Tinubu’s second budget presentation since assuming office.
