The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) on Friday announced it will commence a nationwide strike next Wednesday if the government fails to reverse the new pump price for Premium Motor Spirit also known as fuel.
National President of the NLC, Joe Ajaero, made this known during a press briefing in Abuja.
This comes amid fuel shortages across the country occasioned by President Bola Tinubu’s declaration in his inaugural speech that the era of fuel subsidy was gone.
The NLC also noted that it would no longer negotiate with individuals without portfolios.
