Judy Austin’s post came a day after her husband’s first wife, May, shared a similar post but failed to acknowledge Pete and wife as her in-laws

Judy Austin, second wife of Nollywood actor and movie producer, Yul Edochie is causing a buzz on social media after seemingly capitalising on the decision of the first wife, May Edochie, not to address renowned thespian, Pete Edochie and his wife, as her parents-in-law in a post she shared while celebrating their 53rd wedding anniversary.
TheNiche had reported that the veteran actor and his wife, Josephine marked their 53rd year of living together as husband and wife on October 2.
The report further stated that May, the first wife of their son, Yul Edochie, took to social media to wish them a happy 53rd wedding anniversary.
She wrote: “Pls fam joined me to celebrate the great @peteedochie and his adorable wife. We are grateful to the Almighty for the gift of life. 53 years and counting! May God continue to strengthen you both and give you peace”.

Apparently sensing an opportunity to expose the gaps in May’s post, Judy waited for a whole day to send her own anniversary wishes.
She took to her Instagram page to share a lovely picture of Pete and his wife, referring to them as daddy and mummy in the caption of the photos
Judy wrote: “Happy 53 years of marital bliss to a Living Legend @peteedochie and our beautiful mummy Chief Barrister Mrs Josephine Edochie.
“May God almighty continue to bless your lives with good health and everlasting love Amen. Congratulations, Daddy and Mummy We LOVE YOU!!”
The post has since then elicited mixed reactions from netizens who took to the comment section to air their views after it went viral.
While some wondered why it took Judy a whole day to send her wishes, others hailed her for referring to them as her parents, and once again called out May for disrespecting the ace actor and his wife.
