The ambience at the fourth anniversary of Global Grace Church, which was marked recently, was contagious. Members gorgeously dressed were full of appreciation to God for helping the ministry grow.
Senior Pastor of the Church, Prophet Samuel Daniel, speaking on the theme for the anniversary, ‘A Jubilee of Possession’, noted that jubilee is an irrevocable divine mandate of God on his people, adding that a man needs freedom to be successful in life.
According to him, jubilee comes at different times in a person’s life.
Quoting from Leviticus 25:9-13, he said: “A lot of people have gone into slavery because of hunger and poverty. And some, like the children of Israel in Egypt, were born into slavery. Some were forced into it because of sickness or by evil people. Others, problems led them into occultism and prostitution. Yet God never left the children of Israel in their problems, bondages and slavery. But God’s mandate is that every problem has an expiry date! God did not plan for any man to remain in slavery for life. So, He established the year of Jubilee!”
While noting the different types of jubilee to include silver, golden and diamond, Daniel added that should come out of any bondage at age 60, which is the diamond jubilee. This, he stated, is the blessing of the crowning age.
To enforce this jubilee in a man’s life, one needs to do something. And this begins with knowing and accepting Jesus as one’s personal Saviour.
“That is the freedom we are talking about. Jesus is the remedy that God has given to us for our Jubilee!
“Going to Church is not enough; you need to believe in, and accept, Jesus as your Lord and Saviour!
“Accepting Jesus into your life is the first step. You need to be sanctified and filled with the Holy Spirit. Many people cannot resist sin in their lives because they lack the Holy Spirit in their lives. He is the gene of God that flows inside you. He is the power of God to settle you!” said Daniel.
On what happens to a child of God who is baptised in the Holy Spirit but remains poor, Prophet Daniel stated that it is then time to follow the principles of prosperity, which is to sow.
“The principles of prosperity are universal to anyone who applies them, whether you are a child of God or not. Even drug dealers follow the principles and continue to prosper because they sow.
“Whatever you have, sow into the life of a man of God; sow into the Church and into God’s people,” he sermonised.
