Jubilation as Aiyedatiwa approves Prince Moforunso Arasanyin aas Ajana Afa Okeagbe

Wild Jubilation took over streets of Afa Okeagbe Akoko in Akoko North West local government area of Ondo State as the State Governor, Hon Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa approved the candidacy of Prince Moforunso Samuel Adegbeyega Arakunrin, the Ajana Afa of Okeagbe
The monarch will now be known as Arole Agba1, Okeladekin, Oba Mofolorunso Samuel Adegboyega Arasanyin.
The state Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftancy Affairs, Alhaji Amidu Takuro at a press briefing after the state Executive Council meeting said the state government has approved the appointment of the first class monarch
“I am happy to inform you that the executive council has approved three brand new traditional rulers in the state.
They are Prince Oladele Fredrick Akinmoye as the new Orungberuwa of Ode Erinje in Okitipula LGA, Prince Mofolorunsho Adegboyega Arasanye as the new Ajana-Afa of Oke-Agbe in Akoko North West LGA, Prince Idris Ayodele Femi as the new Gbiri of Epimi of Akoko in Akoko South East LGA of Ondo State.
Also, the Commissioner for Agriculture and Forestry. Mr Olayato Aribo stated that the state government has commence the distribution of food commodities recieved from the federal government to the vulnerable in the state, sales of food at cheeper rate across designated market across the three senatorial districts to arrest hunger and boost food sufficiency.
Aribo said said the food items have been shared across the eighteen local government area of the state.
Speaking on other moves at ending food crisis in the state, the Commissioner stressed that the state government has commenced neighborhood markets where foods are sold at cheaper rate at the three senatorial districts on Thursdays and Sundays compare to the high cost in the market.
On his part, Special adviser to the governor on infrastructure, Mr Babalola Ayoade said the state government will commenced repair of 20kilometer township roads across three senatorial districts and major towns such as Ondo, Akure, and Akoko axis to make the state pothole free.
Ayoade pointed out that the state government will extend the solar street light to other parts of Ondo state.
Meanwhile, the residents of the community have pledged their support to the new paramount ruler.
A standing band was on ground to entertain who were dinning and wining to celebrate the victory.
People in different groups and class took over the streets dancing and praising God for answering their prayers
Women in danced round the town while men hugged one another, and the crowd erupted in cheers for their new traditional ruler.
