Josh2funny insists comedians copying his style must credit him

Josh2funny also admitted that there is competition in the Nigerian comedy and content-creating industry

Stand-up comedian, Chibuike Josh Alfred, better known as Josh2Funny, has said   colleagues who intend to copy his styles must give credit to him.

He made this known while featuring on the latest episode of ‘The Honest Bunch’ podcast.

Speaking during the interview, he admitted that there is competition in the Nigerian comedy and content-creating industry.

He went on to say those claiming that there’s no competition in the acts are only sugar-coating.

He, however, added that he has no competition in comedy industry, stressing that his skits are interpreted in foreign languages in Europe and Asia.

Expressing his views of the Nigerian comedy industry, Josh2Funny said,
“What I won’t take is for people to be copying what I initiated without crediting me. No, I won’t take that.

“Let nobody tell you that there’s no competition in the comedy industry. There’s competition…

“As we speak now, my comedy is interpreted in Madarin, Hindi, Russian, French, and other languages. I’m not with you guys, bro. I’m not anybody’s mate in this comedy industry.”
