Barely 24 hours after the Governor Umar Namadi of Jigawa state lost his mother, death has once again struck his household as he has lost his eldest son.

Barely 24 hours after the Governor Umar Namadi of Jigawa state lost his mother, death has once again struck his household as he has lost his eldest son.

The governor’s son Abdulwahab Umar Namadi died on Thursday as a result of a ghastly auto crash along Dutse-Kafin Hausa road.

A statement by the governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Hamisu Mohammed Gumel said that the deceased was 24 years old.

“With a heavy heart and total submission to the will of Almighty Allah, His Excellency Mallam Umar Namadi, Governor of Jigawa State, announces the passing of yet another member of his family; his dear son Abdulwahab Umar Namadi.

“He departed this world this afternoon (Thursday, December 26th, 2024) as a result of a ghastly motor accident along Dutse-Kafin-Hausa Road.

“24 year old, late Abdulwahab is survived by his parents and many siblings”, the release stated.

It would be recalled that the governor’s spokesman on Wednesday announced the passage of the governor’s mother, Hajia Maryam Namadi
