Jaywon chose Davido as his favourite artiste because his “spirit resonates more” with the ‘Electricity’ crooner‘

Nigerian singer, songwriter, performer, producer and actor, Oluwajuwonlo Iledare, aka Jaywon, has chosen his favourite artiste between colleagues Wizkid and Davido.
The ‘This Year’ crooner made this decision known recently on his X page (formerly Twitter)while highlighting what endeared him to Davido.
Speaking about who he preferred the most among the duo, Jaywon claimed he loves both of them, but his “spirit resonates more” with the “Electricity crooner.

According to him, Davido is a very positive person, emphasising that it would be long before the Nigerian music industry will have someone like him again.
Speaking via his social media page, he tweeted: “I love Wizkid and I love Davido, but my spirit resonates more around Davido. N**ga is too positive in his ways Aje. E go tey before we go see another David.” [sic].
Jaywon hit the limelight and became a household name in the Nigerian music industry after he was discovered by Kennis Music.
In 2009, the Nigerian Music Video Awards presented him with the Best New Artist award.
Following his departure from Kennis Music, he founded his record label, Next World Music in 2013.
He went on to win the award for Best Recording Artiste in 2013 at The Headies with his hit song, ‘This Year’.
