Iyabo Ojo in a now-viral Instagram post, expressed sympathy for their loss and offered prayers for the couple

Popular Nollywood actress and movie producer, Iyabo Ojo has joined other Nigerian celebrities who sent in their prayers and best wishes to comic actor and stand-up comedian, Ayo Makun aka AY, following a tragic fire incident in his home.
The thespian’s tastefully built mansion in the Lekki axis of Lagos State went up in flames recently, leaving the property worth millions of naira burnt to ashes.
Reacting to the development, Iyabo Ojo took to her social media page and shared a photo of AY and his wife, Mabel, as she expressed sympathy for their loss and offered prayers for the couple.
Speaking via her Instagram page, she wrote: “So sorry about your house, Everything lost shall return back a trillion folds .. God’s got you both @realmabelmakun @aycomedian”

Similarly, Yul Edochie’s first wife, May, put up a picture of the ace actor and his wife on her social media page and sympathised with the couple.
In the now-viral post, the mother of four, thanked God for sparing the lives of AY and his family, while also promising to keep them in her prayers.
Taking to her IG page, she wrote: “Thank God for the gift of life. Keeping you and yours in my thoughts and prayers @realmabelmakun @aycomedian. Everything that is lost will be recovered in a million fold. God is in control.”
After the posts made the rounds on social media, followers of May joined her in praying for AY and his wife. However, Iyabo Ojo’s post elicited mixed reactions as some netizens accused her of ‘eye service’.
