Former Italian striker, Alessandro Del Piero has cautioned Paulo Dybala against joining a physical league like the English Premier League (EPL) in the summer.

Del Piero gave the advice while speaking with Sky Italia, where he reminded Dybala that his compatriot, Lionel Messi suffered a similar fate at Paris Saint-Germain.

According to him, the 28-year-old should consider a move to Spanish La Liga, which is similar to the Italian league, and snub a move to the English or French League because the leagues are too demanding physically.

Dybala is set to leave Juventus on a free transfer when his contract expires in June, following seven years at the Serie A giants.

The Argentine international, who has been linked to two London rivals, Tottenham and Arsenal, has made 33 appearances for Juventus in Serie A this season, scoring 13 times and earning six assists.

The Juventus legend said Dybala should avoid making the same mistake as Messi, who struggled in the French league after joining PSG from Barcelona

Del Piero said,  “A league like the Spanish one would help him [Dybala] in all respects.

“Than the more physical championships like in England and France, I think of Messi when he went to a league which was difficult from a physical point of view. In Spain and Italy, Dybala would do very well.”
