President Muhammadu Buhari has challenged the new helmsmen of the Independent National Commission (INEC) to make the conduct of free, fair and credible elections in Nigeria their priority, stressing that they can’t afford to fail Nigerians in future elections.
He gave the charge at the swearing-in of the new National Chairman, Professor Mahood Yakubu and the 5 national commissioners in the Council Chambers, Presidential Villa, Abuja on Monday.
The National Commissioners were: Mrs. Amina Zakari, Mr. Solomon Adedeji Soyebi, Prof. Antonia Taiye Okoosi-Simbine, Dr. Muhammed Mustafa Lecky and Alhaji Baba Shettima Arfo.
